ARTC INFRASTRUCTURE ALTERATIONS OVINGHAM TO SALISBURY

Effective immediately the following active Pedestrian Crossings and Signal Alterations have been commissioned by the Gawler Rail Electrification Project.

- P48 - Ovingham Pedestrian Crossing (5.117km) (operated by axle counters)
- P67 - Islington Pedestrian Crossing (7.425km) (operated by track circuits)
- P167 - Parafield Gardens Pedestrian Crossing (17.977km) (operated by axle counters)
- P188 - Chidda Station South Pedestrian Crossing (20.240km) (operated by axle counters)
- P197 - Chidda Station North Pedestrian Crossing (20.440km) (operated by axle counters)
- P198 - Brown Terrace Pedestrian Crossing (21.071km) (operated by axle counters)

SIGNAL ALTERATIONS

SIGNAL 31 ASPECT RESTRICTION

- 31-signal green aspect requires 33-signal displaying a main line proceed aspect yellow or green.
- 31-signal yellow aspect will be displayed only when 33-signal is displaying a ‘c’-light for entry into the Adelaide Freight Terminal.

SIGNAL 33 RELOCATED TO 7.388KM

- 33 ‘c’-light controls have been modified to remove the approach clearing function.
- Signals 33 & 33 ‘c’, 32 and 34 may be delayed up to 15 seconds in clearing, if P67 Pedestrian Crossing has not been clear (not operating) for 15 seconds.
- Signals 33 & 33 ‘c’ and 32 will be delayed from clearing for 15 seconds if the train is on the approach circuit when signal is called to cater for Pedestrian Crossing activation.

SIGNAGE
------------
- A 20 km/h Permanent Speed board has been erected at 7.572km, adjacent to Signal 32 ex the Adelaide Freight Terminal. Train crews are not to exceed 20km/h from Signal 32 to the pedestrian crossing to cater for Pedestrian Crossing activation.

Train crews are advised to remain vigilant and report any anomalies to the Network Controller.
